At the Hanoi World Culture Festival 2025, IMEXCO Trading Joint Stock Company was honored to accompany UNESCO in introducing Vietnamese Tea Art as a living heritage—the essence of tradition, mindfulness, and harmony between humans and nature. Beyond being a refined beverage, Vietnamese tea is a profound cultural symbol, reflecting a philosophy of serenity and the warm hospitality of the Vietnamese people.
📅 Taking place from October 10–12, 2025 at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the series of activities jointly organized by UNESCO, IMEXCO, and the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center offered international guests, ambassadors, and United Nations representatives unique experiences of Vietnamese tea culture. These included traditional tea-brewing rituals, storytelling, and tastings of premium teas from Vietnam’s renowned tea-growing regions.
✨ In particular, the image of Mr. Tran Manh Hao – Chairman of IMEXCO Trading Joint Stock Company, respectfully presenting MAITE tea gifts to heads of state and international diplomatic representatives, left a lasting impression of a welcoming, refined, and culturally rich Vietnam.
The event formed part of a cooperative project between UNESCO and IMEXCO, aimed at community development, promoting sustainable tourism, and building Vietnam’s heritage brand through a model of “active conservation linked with livelihoods.” Vietnamese tea is currently being considered as a potential candidate for inscription on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, underscoring the living and far-reaching value of Vietnamese tea culture in the context of global integration.
