On October 17, 2025, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture (HCMUC), the program “Vietnamese Tea – Journey from Tea Leaf to Teacup” took place in a warm and respectful atmosphere.
Co-organized by HCMUC, UNESCO in Vietnam, and IMEXCO Vietnam (Maite brand), the event honored Vietnamese tea as a living heritage, where knowledge, culture, and sensory experience intersect to celebrate the Vietnamese spirit in contemporary life.
Cooperation Signing Ceremony Between HCMUC and IMEXCO Vietnam
A key highlight of the program was the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture and IMEXCO Vietnam.
This partnership aims to promote research, education, and cultural promotion of Vietnamese tea, opening a pathway for long-term collaboration between academia and industry.
The initiative contributes to bringing Vietnamese cultural values closer to students and the broader community.

Talkshow: “Vietnamese Tea – A Perspective of Intangible Cultural Heritage”
The talkshow gathered experts, researchers, UNESCO representatives, tea artisans, and tea enterprises to discuss the cultural and heritage values of Vietnamese tea.
Speakers explored the path toward preserving and promoting Vietnamese tea art in modern life, and the potential for Vietnamese tea to be recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The interactive exchange with students fostered pride and awareness of heritage preservation among the younger generation.
Workshop: “The Art of Brewing and Enjoying Tea”
The program concluded with the workshop “The Art of Brewing and Enjoying Tea” hosted by Maite.
Participants learned how to brew and enjoy authentic Vietnamese tea, discovering the cultural meaning infused in each cup.
Beyond hands-on practice, the workshop inspired a refined lifestyle, appreciation for traditional values, and a connection between people, nature, and cultural heritage.
